This course is currently open only to Wordsmith alumni.
For those who are ready for a more in-depth experience that will help them take their writing to the next level, Wordsmith is now offering the first of our annual Master Classes.
Eight to ten writers will be selected to participate in a twelve-week online course via a private forum and webcasts that will culminate in an intimate in-person retreat. Each week will consist of a different lesson from Beth, Cristin or a guest author/industry professional, along with writing assignments that will help you to apply what you've learned, individual consultations to help you make the most of the course, and the guidance and support of your group of like-minded writers.
On the thirteenth week, we'll all meet for a retreat at a beautiful private ranch in Wimberley, Texas. The focus of the retreat will be in-depth group critiques of your manuscript as well as developing strategies for pitching your ideas, querying agents, and preparing for life as a professional author. But it won't be all work with no play, since the ranch also offers a native stone swimming pool, hot tub, ping pong table and other fun amenities.
To ensure that the Master Class is composed of writers who are at similar levels and will therefore be best able to help each other, spots are available by application only. Applications are due October 1st, 2019 and writers will be chosen by November 1st, 2019.
